Lemonade Cake and Spring Break

Spring is certainly in the air but what are they saying?? Another possible freeze this weekend? NO!! I don't know about you guys, but we are SO ready for warmer weather!! 

So much so that for the past several weeks we've been preparing our favorite Spring Cakes for our weekly cake special. Trying to coax the sun to come out and stay out for a while!! Lol! This week we're having a Do-Over because this Lemonade Cake is just amazing! Hope you get a chance to stop in and try a piece and be sure to enter for your chance to WIN!

Did you guys stay home this week for Spring Break or were you lucky enough to head south to the beach? Oh how I long to wiggle my toes in some warm sand. Looking forward to our summer vacation already! Lol.  

There is so many great venues here locally with some fun activities going. Be sure to check out the new website IHEARTHSV for everything going on locally. Pretty cool new way to share with friends and family on local happenings in the TN Valley by Convention and Visitor's Bureau. 

One more special note, this weekend we'll be wrapping up our Brunswick Stew Season and starting our Roasted Corn next weekend. Do you like to enjoy Stew some during the summer? If so, stop by this weekend and pick up a gallon and put in your freezer for later.
